A Rally / Off-Road Recovery Unit has a purpose of the recovery of vehicles only
There are 2 types. A 'Light' recovery will be a four wheel drive vehicle with a 2 ton winch. A 'Heavy' recovery will also be a four wheel drive vehicle with rear jib and 2 ton capacity.
By way of identification they will be clearly marked "RECOVERY" and carrying yellow flashing beacons. The crew will consist of a minimum of two licensed operators at least one of whom must hold a full licence.
