Did you know that there are two types for Off Road / Rally Recovery ?

 

First is the 'Light' recovery, a 4 wheel drive with a 2 ton winch.

Second being the 'Heavy' recovery, a 4 wheel drive with a rear jib of 2 ton capacity

 

Please find listed below the current AMRO / MSA checklist of equipment for a Rally Recovery Unit, including First Aid supplies.

If you ever get time, have a word with a Crew Chief who'll no doubt advise what they carry in excess of this.
